My Story

Photographer. Cinematographer. Editor.

Growing up just outside New York City (New Jersey's official slogan), I was always surrounded by art. On weekends, I would often take NJ Transit in to visit museums, enjoy concerts, but most often, to see any play or musical I could. I loved being transported for those two hours and watch a whole world unfold in front of me. My love for the theater inspired my background in acting. From the ages of five to fifteen, being on stage was where I felt the most comfortable.

With the COVID-19 pandemic landing right at the seam between my time in high school and college, and therefore the halting of live theater, I found I had a hole to fill artistically. However, when that door closed, a window flung open. I auditioned for my first short film, and I immediately fell in love. I loved how collaborative the medium is. I was in awe of the amount of time and effort that went into each shot before even arriving on set. Being on that set lit a fire under me.

Throughout my time in film school, I have been drawn to projects reflecting the human experience. As a deeply empathetic person, I have always found human emotions and relationships incredibly intriguing and moving. As my experience with camera grew, so did my Lightroom Catalog. I discovered the joy of photography. The ability to capture moments in time as well as milestone moments in life. â€‹â€‹

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing a major in Film and Media Production, a minor in Japanese Language, and a certificate in Television & Broadcast Arts. In my free time, I sing as an Alto 2 in the Heinz Chapel Choir and act as the group's Public Relations Manager.

Through my love of life, I have discovered my passion for capturing digital images, moving and still, and immortalizing the human condition. I am pursuing both photography and filmmaking opportunities in Philadelphia, or New York City.
